COOKIE POLICY
VoxSmyth — voxsmyth.com
Last updated: July 30, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Sonosmyth LLC (doing business as VoxSmyth) (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as pixels, tags, local storage, and SDKs) when you visit voxsmyth.com or use our Services. It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and your rights to control them. This Cookie Policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy at https://voxsmyth.com/privacy-policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners. Cookies set by us are “first-party cookies”; cookies set by other companies (for example, our analytics and advertising partners) are “third-party cookies.” We also use related technologies such as web pixels and local storage, and we refer to all of these together as “cookies” in this Policy.
2. What cookies do we use?
Essential cookies
These are strictly necessary to provide the Services and cannot be switched off in our systems. They include:
Authentication and session cookies — keep you signed in to your VoxSmyth account (including sign-in with Google or Facebook) and secure your session.
Security and fraud-prevention cookies — help us detect and prevent malicious activity.
Payment cookies — set by our payment processors to complete subscription purchases and prevent fraud.
Functional cookies
These remember choices you make — such as playback preferences, voice and character assignments, and display settings — so we can provide a more personalized experience. If you disable them, some features may not work as intended.
Analytics and performance cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Services (pages visited, features used, approximate location, device type) so we can improve them. We also use Google Search Console data to understand how visitors find our site. You can learn how Google uses data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Advertising cookies
We use advertising pixels and tags from Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, and TikTok to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns and to show ads for VoxSmyth to people who have visited our site. These partners may use the information collected to build a profile of your interests across sites. We do not sell your personal information for money; however, the use of these advertising technologies may be considered “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under certain US state privacy laws, and you have the right to opt out (see Section 4).
3. Third parties that set cookies on our Services
Google — analytics (Google Analytics), advertising (Google Ads), and sign-in with Google.
Meta Platforms — Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and retargeting, and sign-in with Facebook.
TikTok — TikTok Pixel for advertising measurement and retargeting.
Payment processors — cookies necessary to process payments and prevent fraud.
Each of these partners processes data under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
4. Your choices
Cookie banner — when you first visit voxsmyth.com you can accept or reject non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the site footer.
Opt out of targeted advertising — use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the site footer, or enable a recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), which we honor where required by law.
Browser controls — most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. If you disable essential cookies, parts of the Services may not function.
Industry opt-outs — you can also opt out of interest-based advertising via https://optout.aboutads.info (DAA) and https://optout.networkadvertising.org (NAI).
Platform controls — Meta, Google, and TikTok each provide ad-preference controls in your account settings on their platforms.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. No uniform standard for DNT has been adopted, so we do not respond to DNT signals at this time. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described above where required by law.
6. How long do cookies last?
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them; lifespans vary by cookie, from a few hours to up to two years.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.
