What is VoxSmyth?
VoxSmyth turns books into full-cast audiobooks using AI voices. Unlike traditional audiobooks with one narrator, our Smart Character Analysis detects every character in a book, attributes each line of dialogue to its speaker, and gives every character their own distinct voice. You can even switch any character's voice mid-listen and resume at the exact word.

Create an account & sign in
- Go to the Sign In page (top-right of any page, or visit /auth).
- Choose "Sign in with Google" for one-click access, or enter an email and password to create an account.
- Check "Remember me" to stay signed in for 30 days on your device.
Tip: Already signed up with email and now using Google? If your Google account uses the same email address, both sign-in methods connect to the same VoxSmyth account — your library and progress are shared.
Note: Forgot your password? Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in page. We'll email you a reset link — it expires after 1 hour for security, so use it promptly (check spam if you don't see it).
Start your 30-day free trial
Every paid plan starts with a 30-day free trial. You pay $0 today — your card is only charged after the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then.
- Visit the Try Free page (/try-free) or pick a plan on the Pricing page.
- Choose your plan: The Listener, The Director, or The Creator.
- Sign in with Google or create an account right on the page.
- Complete the secure Stripe checkout — your card is saved but not charged.
- That's it — your full plan features unlock immediately for 30 days.
Note: We'll email you a reminder 3 days before your trial ends so there are no surprises. Each account can use one free trial.
Play your first book
- Open the Library (/library) and browse or search the classics collection.
- Pick a book — try a favorite like Pride and Prejudice or A Christmas Carol.
- Press Play. The first time a chapter plays, VoxSmyth generates the narration — this can take a short moment. After that, it's cached and plays instantly.
- Your position is saved automatically. Come back anytime and pick up where you left off, down to the word.
Install VoxSmyth as an app (mobile & desktop)
VoxSmyth is a Progressive Web App — you can install it for a full-screen, app-like experience without an app store.
- iPhone/iPad (Safari): tap the Share button, then "Add to Home Screen".
- Android (Chrome): tap the menu (⋮), then "Install app" or "Add to Home screen".
- Desktop (Chrome/Edge): click the install icon in the address bar, then "Install".
